What is the scavenger hunt?
Only the most inspiring, creative and fun way to learn your camera, push your limits, experiment, and shoot things in ways you didn't think you could.

The game is open to up to 300 Photographers
You get 7 items to shoot
You get a period of time to shoot and enter your photos.
Then they are judged by amazing photographers
Then the albums are opened up to the public over the course of 7 days.
There are 7 categories:
This is the ”JUDGE” album.
This event is an amazing way to use your camera in new ways.
It gets you seeing things in new ways,
It helps improve your photography skills,
gives you a huge audience,
and lets everyone celebrate each other's successes.
Make new friends,
and be a part of a community of photographers who care about each other, teach each other, and inspire one another.

Urgent Request
Hey guys..I am taking a break from my Alaskan posts to draw your attention to an urgent situation that has been developing in Kerala, a small state situated at the southern most tip of the Indian Sub Continent. Popularly knows as God’s own country, this beautiful state is famous for its lush green landscapes, picturesque backwaters and welcoming people.However this little gem of a state is currently facing a major crisis due to catastrophic flooding and landslides caused by torrential rains. Thousands have been evacuated, many are trapped in their houses with no food or electricity while the water continues to rise almost as high as second floors. Death toll from the floods is rising steadily and there seems to be no end in sight as rains are continuing to fall relentlessly. The entire state has been put under red alert and one of the major International airports has been shut down for a atleast a couple of days now.Even though the people of Kerala are new to this kind of large scale natural calamity they are determined and doing everything in their power to help each other and come out of this situation strong. But the of extent damage caused so far is of unimaginable proportion and they need every help they can get by way of food, shelter, money and even help from volunteers. A group of our friends here in Canada has setup a gofundme page to try and help those in need, link to which is shared here. I kindly request you all to check and donate if you are able to, every small bit helps. Even if you are unable to donate, I request you all to please keep the people of Kerala in your thoughts and prayers. Love and peace to all.

The Great Land of Alaska
Those who are following me on Instagram (Saji_Saju) might know that I went on vacation at the start of this month. I finally got some time to upload a couple of pictures today. This was from Lake Eklutna, a glacial lake situated between Anchorage and Talkeetna and is a part of Chugach State Park. You can also see a 180 degree view of the place on my Insta stories.

Day 6 - Pastel
We are officially on DAY SIX of REVEALS
from the 22ND “LIVE THE LIGHT ROUND
of the G+ Photography Scavenger Hunt!!!
What is the scavenger hunt?
Only the most inspiring, creative and fun way to learn your camera, push your limits, experiment, and shoot things in ways you didn't think you could.
This event runs a few times a year for anyone of any level of photography to participate.
The game is open to up to 300 Photographers
You get 7 items to shoot
You get a period of time to shoot and enter your photos.
Then they are judged by amazing photographers
Then the albums are opened up to the public over the course of 7 days.
There are 7 categories:
This is the ”PASTEL” album.
This event is an amazing way to use your camera in new ways.
It gets you seeing things in new ways,
It helps improve your photography skills,
gives you a huge audience,
and lets everyone celebrate each other's successes.
Make new friends,
and be a part of a community of photographers who care about each other, teach each other, and inspire one another.
The group of "scavengers" that participate create a community unlike any other on G+.
Support, encouragement, friendships even some #huntsmack is enjoyed.
We become a family over the course of the round.
This is a negative-free zone - There is zero tolerance for any critiques that are uninvited.
Please be respectful and remember that every person went out there and took the time to shoot these images
and put thought into them and tried their best.
And remember….YOU ALL ROCK!
