Dinner here in their famous patio: PERFECT Service is attentive, decor is definition of perfection, food is amazing and you can get the whole "LA experience". Wolfgang himself might just show up- note that he can be heard a mile away. He will gladly take a picture with you if that's what you want. Bread basket- omg, if I didn't have to order.. I can make a meal out of this. Sooo good Appetizer- his famous squah soup- to die for beet napolean- makes me love beets Dinner entree- not as memorable. I had duck with noodles and it tasted good but it didn't knock my socks off (I'm sure it was very innovative about 20 years ago) Dessert- DID YOU KNOW THAT SHERRY YARD WORKS HERE? I don't know if she personally made my dessert but it was fabulous. It was gone before my date could try it. Over all, I loved it. Everything was spot on. There might be an ounce of pretentiousness but eh, I can get over it.

On a bit of a whim I decided to drop into Caesar’s and grab dinner. It has been some time and, at first, I had trouble deciding which venue to rest my heels. Alas, I chose Spago. Dining alone, I was offered a seat at the very outer rail affording great people watching. The wait was very brief which was a surprise Spago at Caesar’s Palace as the restaurant was very busy and I did not have a reservation; welcoming staff that even went as far as to correct my disheveled lapel. On the patio, the seating is a bit crowded for egress and passage, but ample for movement. I chose the Soup du Jour and Cascerecci Pasta à la Bolognaise as an entrée. The soup texture was rather thick, and hot but very, very flavorful; spicy a bit. I do not recommend this to everyone, yet those that enjoy a bit of “heat” and a flavor reminiscent of Jambalaya will be very satisfied. The Cascerecci Pasta à la Bolognaise was very good – not outstanding, but very good. The sauce didn’t bore or excite and the pasta was cooked just right, but didn’t “wow.” I didn’t catch the Garlic, I did however, enjoy the Braised Beef – and the Ricotta Cheese was most pronounced and flavorful of all with each mouthful. I’m very satisfied with dinner and actually can think of no detractions. I suppose it’s rare to dine and the venue hit a mark where you are without comment beyond a great meal without incident. I must say the view, a meal that meets exact expectations, and a dialed in professional staff is a surprise. A new standby has been located as the culinary fare is predictable and the view is worth every dollar.

This place is a fine dining extravaganza! Prices are steep, and the quality of the food is very very high to justify the prices. You will surely see famous people here. The place has to be seen to be believed, or believed to be seen!

Beautifully renovated space in Beverly Hills. Celebrity hangout, Wolfgang Puck may even stop by the table. Intense wine list.
