Eat a meal in our beautiful courtyard, belly up to the bar and have a creative cocktail, listen to live music under the stars, or dance until the wee hours – there is something for everyone.

We care deeply for our community and strive to provide a gathering place for all. Tucson musicians take the stage most days of the week, our Cantina pours local beer, and we support our local farmers and ranchers.

My friend and I had a chance to try La Cocina again, after being turned away for dinner (apparently, they have certain hours for serving food). I had the Presidio Reuben with the Polenta Fries, which were delicious! The courtyard creates a nice relaxing atmosphere. The live music and friendly staff made our visit enjoyable. Reason for 4 stars: Lacking extended dining hours and no dessert menu.

Over priced white people food. I'm from Denver came to town drove around for an hour trying to find a simple smothered burrito. I read the reviews everyone was raving about so I gave it a try. Poor excuse.I paid 25 for a smothered burrito and tacos. And all I got was a burrito with veggies in it with a spoon of green Chile sauce and another valetina mix sauce. NOT smothered at all. And the tacos corn torts weren't even cooked and only 2 with salad .. Helllllloooo!!!!. And my stomach was upset all day. Over priced!!! And the bartender needs to clean the wax out of his ear!... The place is neat and relaxing outside.

This was a wonderful excursion from the Mexican fare that we have had since arriving in Tucson for vacation. A neat little spot with great atmosphere and a lovely owner who really cares about her clients. My wife and I totally recommend this as a must stop in while in Tucson. Or in the words of my wife "The atmosphere rocks! 5 stars."

Stopped for dinner while driving cross country. Relaxing atmosphere, great service, good music and excellent food. Rueben Sandwich and Burrito, not all me, my wife also had some, were delicious.

Good food, though overpriced. Seemed a little touristy with that gift shop.
