Good morning. Happy Wednesday! I didn’t have anything interesting to post so here is a photo of my wonky face. A selfie taken in my mums bathroom where the light is good. Half way through the week already where does the time go? I have already walked into town to buy and post birthday cards and once back home I plan on mowing the lawn which has gotten stupidly overgrown. I also need to tidy up an abundance of dolls and clean the bathroom. All glamour in my world folks. Savannah and me are also planning to watch a film when she is home from nursery so I need to pull my finger out and get done! But first, coffee. On my own. In my favourite coffee shop. These are the goals I want to achieve this summer. You should make goals every day no matter how small they are, if it is important to you to achieve them then it is an important goal. Make plans, go places, clean out the loft, smile at strangers, make your bed each morning, walk instead of driving whatever makes you feel good, feeds your soul happiness and boosts wellbeing is worth doing. So today has been part success, part failure. There is tons of housework I intended to do but didn’t (namely washing and putting a big pile of washing away) I also intended on getting back on top of my personal writing projects but didn’t. I also ate my weight in custard creams this evening which really didn’t help things. I am now in bed with a bloated belly, feeling shit and suffering MASSIVE food guilt. On the other hand though I deep cleaned the en suite and bathroom today as well as cleaning our bedroom and I started the day off by getting up at 6am to do 40 minutes of yoga and did twenty mins bedtime yoga too (albeit on a belly full of biccies) I also cuddled on the sofa with Savannah and watched a film followed by a look and find book. Tonight I have a list of what I want to get done tomorrow (which sensibly is smaller than todays) and I intend on us going out because when you feel low staying in isn’t always the best option. It can make you stir crazy. It certainly dulled my mood today. Not sure where we will go but it will be somewhere fun. Tomorrow I intend on getting up, facing the day and getting on, something I just couldn’t seem to do today. I just couldn’t shake off my mood. Tomorrow is another day though, onwards and upwards. X

Started the day off right with yoga and a green juice. Am now starting phase one of deep cleaning the house. My four year old is not happy about being housebound for the next couple of days but we have done so much stuff for her over half term (quite rightly of course) and this clean is overdue and will make me feel so good when it is done so she will survive a couple of days indoors entertaining herself. Hope you have a great Monday and go to sleep tonight satisfied with your day. X

Tomorrow is the start of a new week and if I am honest I haven’t felt like I can face each new day that arrives lately. It is such a frustrating and horrendous feeling to feel so low you can’t even face waking up to the family you love. Each day is a gift that shouldn’t be taken for granted. When you feel low though each new day just seems like a hindrance, a chore, a punishment. You feel heavy and your chest is constantly tight with worry (you never know exactly what you are meant to be worrying about its just there) your stomach is churning with anxiety and your head is full of white noise. You have zero energy to do anything. No motivation or inspiration. Everything feels like a struggle and utterly pointless.
To come through the other side though we have to make a change. We can’t succumb to those feelings we have to fight against them. We have to kick their arses and show them whose boss. So this week I am setting some new goals and some new positive challenges to focus my thoughts on and to challenge myself and make me feel happier and healthier. By distracting my mind with positive tasks and challenges I have less time to be idle and get lost in bad thoughts. I need to break old bad habits like eating shit food when I feel low and replacing them with new ones like going for a long walk instead. Easier said then done sometimes I know but I am going to give it a bloody good go. So what are this weeks new goals?
1) GET BACK TO YOGA AFTER THREE DAYS OFF. MORNING AND EVENING.
2) JUICE CLEANSE EVERY DAY TO DETOX MY MIND AND BODY.
3) GO FOR A WALK EVERY EVENING WITH SAVANNAH FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES BEFORE BATH TIME.
4) WRITE EVERY DAY. WHETHER ON MY BLOG OR MY DIARY OR JUST SCRIBBLING DOWN THOUGHTS.
5) EAT LOTS OF VEGGIES
6) TAKE SAVANNAH ON A FUN DAY OUT SOMEWHERE NEW
7) GIVE THE HOUSE A THOROUGH CLEAN
8) PUT MONEY IN SAVINGS
9) TREAT MYSELF TO SOMETHING NEW
10) CLEAR OUT OLD CLOTHES OF MINE AND SAVANNAHS
11) HAVE A PAMPER EVENING AND LONG BUBBLE BATH
12) TRY OUT A NEW RECIPE

Lets see how I get on. I will update my progress on here each day. Bring it on Monday!!
