I did this ride again about two weeks later, after getting off work early. I was feeling strong that day and decided to go back up the hill via McCullough Rd. As I passed a roadie while climbing up the back side, he pulled in behind me and asked if I minded him drafting. "Be my guest," I said. After about 15 seconds, he said, "Do you have a motor on that thing or are is it just you?" "Just me!"
At this point, he got up out of the saddle and busted ass to get ahead of me and stay there. Can't say I blame him; I'd be pretty humiliated too if I got beaten on a climb by a guy on a cargo bike wearing business casual attire.
