The first time we went was awesome. Had yucca fries, and the pastries stuffed with cheese/meats, all delicious, I tried the Brazillian beer and liked it, have drive through and good happy hour specials. Went a second time and service was really terrible. My food was all jacked up, they weren't friendly and weren't very busy. Not sure if I can recommend this place. I might give it 1 more try because the first time was so good but we'll see. UPDATE: Went back for a third time and it was just as good, if not better than the first time. So I upped my review from 3 to 4 stars. The staff was super friendly, food was delicious, and had a great experience

My first experience here was great. My husband and I went for dinner with a Groupon and our server was awesome. It was happy hour and they have good appetizer and alcohol prices. We had the yucca fries appetizer and for dinner had a variety of pastries stuffed with cheese/meats. It was all delicious. We decided to take friends here when they were visiting from out of town and our experience was awful. The service was unreasonably slow considering they were not even that busy. It took a very long time to get anything we ordered and it just seemed like our waitress really could care less. Hopefully we can give them another try because I truly did enjoy my experience the first time.

I dream of their cheese bread, so delicious! My favorite salgadinhos is the shrimp one (Risoli de Camarão). They have a great patio but be warned that you might swarmed by flies. I like their food, but it can be a bit pricey for a quick meal. Be on the lookout for their groupons, they're available often.

Sunday, June 29, 2014. I arrived at the restaurant and not one single person who worked there spoke a word of Portuguese. I stuck around and ordered. 20 minutes after I ordered, I was brought my iced tea. Yes, it took 20 minutes for the waitress (he was a guy) to bring me a glass of iced tea. 40 minutes after I ordered, my food was brought out to me. Yes, it took 40 minutes for the waitress to serve me two salgados. Both salgados were bland and lacked any sort of flavor. They were deep fried in some under-heated ,garbage oil, probably canola or some other unhealthy garbage that fat white people demand their food be fried. Then the waitress (he was a guy) brought me a check for almost $30. LOUSY service, LOUSY food and the wrong check. The two ladies at the table next to mine had ordered some extra dipping sauce. After waiting 15 minutes and still no extra dipping sauce, one of the ladies went inside and got it herself (she returned in less than 30 seconds.) My passport has about a dozen stamps from going into Brazil....I've been there a few times and I also speak the language. This place has NO Brazilian feel to it whatsoever, NONE!!

I liked the food alot the two times I've been here. The waitress was very nice even when she got my order all wrong. If they are now closed it is quite unfortunate.

I can't get enough of those pão de queijo aka delicious cheese bread balls plus they have them in multiple flavors (basil, anyone?). I almost bought the frozen ones to take home. The service was great but sitting outside wasn't the best. We were swarmed by flies constantly so I might recommend inside. Overall, the food brought me back to Brazil and I would go again.

A great little restaurant tucked away in east Austin! I highly recommend trying the cheese bread. The food is so delicious and gives you a taste of real Brazilian flavors and dishes. They have plenty of gluten free options too. I'm in love with every dish that uses yucca, which is basically a heavier, healthier type of potato plant for those of you not familiar with it. There's great outdoor seating and the decorations are so colorful and fun. You really get the perfect portion size for your price here.
