It was the worse dining experience I've ever had. The food was disgusting and outrageously priced. It cost $80.00 for 3 adults and 2 children for lunch. The decor is tasteless and downright frightening. The burgers were frozen patties, the lettuce was like that of a used dish rag. The owners should be ashamed of running such a shit hole.

Food was AWESOME !!!!! Staff was very friendly Steaks were delicious. Grilled Chicken sandwich was amazing. jalapenos bottle caps were DELICIOUSLY HOT. Very clean. Will go back!!!!!!!!!!

It's off the beaten path, but it is well worth the little journey. The theming outside is adorable with the wagons and old western feel. The servers and service in general was outstanding! It does help that this place is never really busy. You may be 1 of 5 tables there at any given time. You get a lot of attention, and a really comfortable, intimate dining experience. Given how fancy it looks and the fact that it's a steakhouse, I expected the prices to be higher. They are not too bad at all! The best thing, being a girl, is that they have an extensive "petite" menu. I ordered a steak expecting a tiny portion-13 ounces! lol Great price, too. Everything was cooked to perfection. The food got there really fast. The steaks were absolutely perfect! Seasoning, well cooked, and good meat make for a great little find. I highly recommend trying what they call the "buffalo chips." They are like french fries but circular and flat-surprisingly tasty! There was live music at the bar, very fun environment. The decor inside is a strange mix of wild west and fancy dining ball room. It's really nice. There is a big outdoor tent/back room of sorts and tables outside. We dined inside in the air conditioning, but on a nice night, that would be romantic. All in all, this a place we'll definitely be returning to. It's a special little local place sure to become your spot :)

So i read all the reviews for this place and thought im a steak enthusiast i would give it a shot plus i was in TEXAS had the rib eye. This was one of the best meals iv had in some time service rocked and the building was well decorated very farmhouse country style. You must go here we will be back. Thanks edge of texas

I've been there twice for lunch. Each time I ordered the tortilla soup and it's amazing!!! I had the chicken fried steak as well and I didn't like it but it wasn't the worst. I would still go there for lunch again.

My wife and I went to this restaurant on a Friday night and they had a gentleman there singing live music which was kind of interesting and he had a pretty good voice we thought. Our waitress was friendly when she was actually around, which was not often. The food was good, but not worth $25-$30 a plate. I personally ordered the steak and shrimp and had clam chowder, potato casserole, and mixed vegetables to go along with it. The soup tasted fine but was very salty like it was recently poured out of a can and the bread that was served with it was at least a day or two old and not homemade, not fresh like you would expect at this price point (Texas Roadhouse is far cheaper and has fresh homemade bread). My steak while juicy was very fatty, not marbled but downright fatty. The (4) fried shrimp that came with were nicely butterflied and crispy, very good. My mixed vegetables consisted of a few pieces of cauliflower, some broccoli stems, and carrots that were already seasoned with salt, pepper, and lemon (I couldn't finish them because they were so salty and I thought I ordered vegetables not salt). The potato casserole was somewhat disappointing because the waitress described it as twice baked potatoes casserole style but instead I got mashed potatoes topped with cheese and chives-- they should just call it mashed potatoes not casserole. Again and unfortunately the waitress spent more time chatting with other servers than being attentive to our table. On a positive note she did seem very familiar with the menu which was greatly appreciated. Overall I would say that you can get better food and service at a chain restaurant for a lower price. If the soup, bread, and sides would have actually been fresh and homemade along with a better quality steak the price would definitely be worth it here for a nice family owned restaurant. But that is not the case so this is a place I would suggest to pass up and not bother wasting your time and money at.

Amazing food. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Steak soup could have more spices because it was a little bland. And you want your fillet mignon medium, not medium rare because it's too pink. Everything else was wonderful.
