Huh. I guess there was an animated series called Wormhole Wastrels. Can't find any details, though.

I was going to make a radical shift in Wormholes and Waystations, focusing more on interdimensional vagrants than on spacer opera heroes. Also more of a general point-based GURPS/Champs-lite system than the d6 OSR engine it had. But, it looks like I'm better off keeping the name at least, and just iterating the file version.

I don't know if I've found a lawsuit to file, or my spirit animal.

We always open Christmas presents on Christmas Eve. So here's the loot report!

Kid with his weighted blanket, playing with his Iron Man action figure. On the table, you can see Star Lord, Thor, and Groot. Also, the graphic novels I got for him from the office charity auction.

Then, another shot of the kiddo, with the Magnadoodle I also got at the auction. He loves these things, and plays with them until they break! The weighted blanket was expensive, but he LOVES it. He smiled the moment he saw it.

Some of +Kev Kubli's presents. Books on Spectrum Women, and +Joseph Piatt got her (us) Neil Gaiman's book on Norse Myth. Missing: About 8 pairs of crazy socks, and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Rondo of Blood 2-pack for the PS4.

I got Runequest: Roleplaying in Glorantha (unbelievably gorgeous book), a friend got me the second and third books in the Quantum Thief series (HIGHLY recommend!). Also, I got me a really, really good habanero mango hot sauce; half-empty here because I've already burned half my face off and I love it!

And Kev and I got us a copy of Scrabble. I can't believe a couple of word nerds never owned a copy! My prediction: she will kick my dorsal posterior at this (that's okay, I usually manage to just barely win at chess :) ). Finally, here's some very nice (and boozy) chocolate from Salem Center Mall for Kev. Maybe she'll share. I don't know, they're REALLY good chocolates!

More importantly, we are having a relaxed weekend. We love you all and hope you're having a Merry Christmas!

Oh wow. DriveThruRPG actually has the Midnight movie!

Several members of my gaming group and I watched this during a booze and bad movies night years ago.

It is kind of heartwarming, though, how the filmmakers really love all the fiddly bits of their setting, and are ready to assume you do, too. However ... booze is recommended, as well as reinforcements. +Joseph Piatt +Kev Kubli +Keith Schneider

Brad Murray gives a review of W&W! Though it's still a work in progress, he likes some if it, and has some good suggestions for improvement.

Jump on the VSCA blog and add your two credits.
Today I’m going to look at Joshua Kubli’s magnum opus, Wormholes and Waystations. Joshua keeps a current set of links in its own doc, including contact info. This is an enormous tome, nearly 400 pages of material, that delivers a space-opera OSR…
