After drugs were found aboard the Ping May, a vessel owned by his wife’s family’s company, Colombian authorities are investigating.

Just got back from this wonderful spot ... not enough parking, but otherwise, just BEAUTIFUL! The trip to Fork Shoals (via Conestee Lake Rd) is as much fun as the hiking, the area is *so* lovely. The falls are roaring, the Reedy River is wide and the trails are well-marked, but still pretty rustic. Somebody was filming a movie or commercial or something while we were there; the falls are so picturesque, its easy to see why they chose this locale for filming. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you enjoy rural hiking.

Last week, we crossed on one of the footbridges through a veritable CLOUD of huge, beautiful rainbow-dragonflies, all buzzing next to orange "trumpet flower" vines and enormous, tree-sized ferns. A magical place, like a tropical paradise from another time.

The suburbs have grown up around this amazing market, but the product is the same: local, fresh, often organic and picked that very day. GREAT PLACE and wonderful fresh vegetables, fruits, ciders, breads, as well as terrific old-fashioned candies and salad dressings...
