Husband and I read mixed reviews but decided we would try it ourselves in celebration of our 15 year Anniversary and Valentine's Day. We had reservations on Saturday, February 15th at 6:15 pm. While we were promptly seated the hostess was not very friendly. It took quite a while for the server to come by and take our drink orders so we made sure we got our food order in at the same time. While waiting for food we requested some additional bread and for whatever reason she took our plates when she went back to get a fresh batch and never brought them back. Both of us ordered Filet Mignon and husband wanted it to have very little pink and I wanted it well done (even suggesting they butterfly it if they were thick steaks). Both, especially mine, came out warm and REALLY red. However, the steamed clams, viniagerette dressing on the house salad and the mashed potatoes were really good. Hoping it was just an off night because they were so busy due to the Holiday and looking forward to giving them another chance.

It's one of the finest steak restaurants I've been to anywhere. I'd put their steak up against the Metropolitan Grill but Ricardo's, although very expensive for Olympia area, is a fraction of what you'd pay for this quality in a big city. One night, the table next to us was filled with business travelers from out of town who just happened to drive by the place and were hungry. Not expecting much in a small town on a side street they were astonished, exclaiming they hadn't had better in cities like Chicago or New York and shocked they got the quality for such low price.

My boyfriend took me to Ricardo's for dinner before my Senior Prom. The entire experience was perfect! The hostess and waitresses doted on us. They were so sweet and kind, commenting on my dress and making our special night feel even more special. The food was amazing and I would go back in an instant if I had the money for it. It was very expensive, but the setting was romantic, the food was delicious, and the hospitality was like none other. I highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion!

Friendly wait staff. Great relaxed environment especially if a cigar smoker (outdoor area forr pit). Food was exceptionally prepared.

Mike and I always have the best food, greatest wines and superb service. We like to sit in the bar and enjoy their Happy Hour bites and drinks. The pizza is over the top and their salads are delish. If you want a steak the very best in town. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Which , of course, I do. I like to give gift certificates to Ricardo's for my clients. They are always tickled to get them.

A locally owned and operated family restaurant which uses locally grown and harvested ingredients when and where possible. Always concerned about quality of food and service - and is probably the very best place in the Pacific NorthWest to plan a special occasion - whatever it is they will make it memorable.

The Steak there was OK nothing bad or great. But the wait was pretty long. 30+ minutes. But what really bothered me was that through my sons school we purchased an Entertainment book which had a coupon for $18 off if you purchase a meal with the coupon being used toward a second meal. My sister has been here prior to us and purchased a gift card through them so that my wife and I would go there as well, but when it came time to pay they stated that we can not use a coupon and a giftcard, only one may be used even though there not the same thing. BEWARE: They will not take a giftcard and a coupon coming straight from the owner Ricardo's mouth.
