Free Webinars for SLTs - From Below Average to Above Average Ratings - One School’s Success Story

Filey Junior School has a high percentage of Pupil Premium students. When Harvey McCarthey joined as Headteacher he was faced with reversing a long-standing trend of below national average results for literacy and numeracy. Today, the school boasts ratings in both areas well above the national average.

A core factor in this success is the effective use of technology to engage pupils and enhance the learning experience.

We would like to invite members of your school’s Senior Management Teams to one of two free, one-hour webinars where Harvey will explain the challenges he faced and how he and his team overcame them.

Attendees will be given the chance to win Acer’s latest Spin Chromebook, to be launched later this month.

For details and to register please use the link.

In one of my recent posts I complained about update in the research tool to 'explore'. One of the problems was that the citation option was removed. I was particularly annoyed as the DCF at Yr6 mentions pupils citing their work. There were lots of complaints about this update across the web, so it's good to see Google listening and have brought it back.
