Here's a really nice article in the Shoreline Area News about the work our team did yesterday for Mary's Place on their new Popsicle Place, a home for kids with life-threatening illnesses and their families. What a great crew we have... we are so proud! http://www.shorelineareanews.com/2017/01/marys-place-opens-small-house-shelter.html

Worth every penny! My husband and I searched for two and half years for a house, and we purchased one we thought was full of potential, but we didn't know how best to go about accessing that potential until we met with Sarah and the rest of the amazing team at Gaspar's. We met with other contractors and designers, but we ultimately chose the Gaspar's team because of a few reasons: supporting local business whenever possible is important to us and the honesty and vision that Sarah and Tess demonstrated at our initial meetings made us trust them. That honesty and vision led to a 4 month-long remodel of our kitchen that entailed tearing down two main walls, replacing knob and tube wiring, installing brand new appliances, lighting, flooring, beams, windows and door, and painting all of the rooms on the first floor. All of that hard work resulted in a beautiful open-concept kitchen that my husband and I had been talking and dreaming about for years, as well as a warm, inviting and fully functioning first floor. The design process was hands-on, and each decision was thoughtfully discussed. To say that I'm particular about things might be a slight understatement, but Sarah, Tess, Isaac, and Heather showed incredible patience and mindfulness during our weekly meetings and answered every email, text, and phone call with alacrity and thoroughness. Even though they all had busy schedules, I never felt rushed and was fully satisfied with the excellent service provided. I also want to commend Heather, our amazingly talented contractor, for her work ethic, diligence, positivity, and straightforward manner. No question was too insignificant, and Heather took the time to ask us about design preferences onsite that would inevitably come up. Heather also showed incredible skill as she was able to build us a beautiful brand-new mantel from scratch (!), install the gas insert, and take the time to repair a number of items around the house in order to improve their aesthetics and functionality. We have recommended Gaspar's to all of our friends, and we are already planning a remodel of our second floor and eventually our unfinished basement. It's true that Gaspar's is not inexpensive, but I believe that you truly get what you pay for, and that Gaspar's is a worthy investment.

We called Gaspars as we found a small leak in our 10 year old roof. They sent out their handyman and had it fixed before it rained next (those loving in Seattle know that's a quick turnaround). Way faster and far less money than a roofing company quoted us. Months later not a single leak!

Sarah Henry and her team at Gaspar’s Construction are the most creative, knowledgeable, and high integrity group I have ever met in the remodel industry. I’ve referred a number of clients to Sarah over the years and everyone has received individual attention, excellent customer service, and have been overjoyed with the completed work. Sarah is consistently on budget, on time, client focused and is always working to impress her clients. I can’t recommend Sarah Henry and her team enough for your remodeling needs.

Used Gaspar's to remodel our kitchen. It came in under budget and how often do you hear that on a construction project? We had interviewed about 6 or 7 different contractors (a couple of independent, a couple of design/build, a couple of vertically integrated companies) and felt that Gaspar's had the right amount of expertise, communication and flexibility to work with us. And we were right! Gaspar's built us a beautiful kitchen, most of the time, we knew what was going on with our project, and we were able to do some of the work ourselves! I am very pleased and whole heartedly recommend them to anyone!

Update: Sarah Henry personally called to address the situation. I'm happy with the way she handled it and the resolution offered. Will use Gaspar's again. --- Gaspar's bills for transit time to purchase replacement parts that they don't have on hand. I was okay with this until I discovered that the tech who handled my job billed for two hours she spent driving around town searching for a part that wasn't even stocked at the stores she checked. If replacement parts are necessary to complete a job, one would hope the tech knows exactly what they are and where they can be quickly and reliably obtained. If there's any doubt, parts should be secured ahead of time with a phone call. Since they're unable to this, it's the customer who pays for such iffy excursions.

Isaiah, thanks for your feedback. This is not the experience I want our clients to have. I will of course be reviewing this with my team. In regards to your project I will also be in touch with you directly. Thanks, Sarah
