Her job is to serve the public. If she has a problem with that she shouldn't serve in a public office. Her beliefs don't matter when it comes to executing the duties of her government job. She can't refuse anyone any kind of license that they can legally acquire based on personal religion.

Good enough to betray your siblings for.
Vanilla Garlic is my nifty food blog that I tinker at with essays about life and food that I like to think are humorous or thoughtful. I also work as a freelance writer and a cookbook author. Whether I succeed at any of this debatable.

If you start any sentence with "I have gay friends, but..." and spout you're against same-sex marriage/ gays adopting / etc. then clearly you don't have gay friends. You might have met a gay person at a party or have a co-worker who is gay, but that does not make you both friends because few people want to be friends with people who think they are less than. If you talk to gay people, likely you'll be the ones to realize that you need to reverse your views and that gays should be allowed to married. It never goes the other way around.

Point #1 is spot on. I often tell people it's a shame something so cute tastes so good. A shame for the lambs that is. Poor things.
