British PM is correct and Ed Milliband is about as useless as Junker and in the UK were we get to vote upon who runs the UK unlike the whole EU fix-up, we would not elect such a inept person.  Simply put, Ed Milliband in context of running the UK is a moron and I would say that in a court of law and too his face as I'm a fair person.

More news, EU ignores UK's comments and poo' poo's them without listening and doing something.

Also well played EU in showing a picture of the house authorities were trying to keep secret and non-public and in today's times of image searches, well, lets pick upon an innocent house and inanimate objects, shall we.

What can be done on an EU level to reduce the road toll?

2014: a very bad year for road safety 2014 road deaths figures are “disappointing” according to Commissioner Bulc Almost 70 Europeans die on our roads every day The road traffic death toll in the EU decreased only by 1% from 2013 to 2014 “More efforts are needed” on road safety says Commissioner Bulc Greece, Portugal and Spain register a better than average road safety improvement over the years Malta, The Netherlands, Sweden and the United Kingdom, the lowest road fatality rates. The highest: Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania
Even if the road traffic death toll in the EU decreased by 1 percent from 2013 to 2014, this result breaks the positive trend of the previous year, when death fatalities were reduced by 8 percent. The Commissioner in charge of transport, Violeta Bulc, who on Tuesday (March 24) presented the road ...

+Paul Gray it's mutual responsibility - IT IS A UNION ;) Then Some Countries decided they can take ADVANTAGE over THEIRS NEW BETTER CREDIT RATINGS ! Like Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, etc. Who's fault is that ? It's AGAIN mutual responsibility, BUT if you seek for a fault - someone draw the money out and spend them Unwisely PERIOD :|
GL and I must note some of the things you say are so, but presented not very accurate.

Making Democracy work at the local level: Ensuring sustainable growth and social progress in Latvia

"Whether we are talking about combatting depopulation in rural areas, creating employment through social enterprises or focussing on community-led development, the message is the same: We need to build up local capacities, mobilise the grassroots and civil society organisations, propose innovative and integrated approaches and build up alliances. Above all, we must empower local organisations and give them ownership of the process". With these words of Mr Jahier, President of the Various Interests Group of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), opened the conference on 'Economic Growth and Social Progress in Rural and Urban Areas', which was organised by his group in  Riga on 25 March.
