One of the last great steak houses in Omaha. Food is generally good but, a bit pricey. Toasted Ravioli very good. Received salad dressing on side which is how I like it!

I've eaten here many times over past 30 years, my most recent visit was a return to their glory days! It's great to see a good classic steak house again in Omaha.

My wife and I ate their last week and were very happy with the experience. The Onion Rings were crispy and not to greasy, Whiskey Rib-eye was excellent and the service and atmosphere were good as well.

Very average customer service, atmosphere, and mediocre steak. Had the filet and the NY strip. However, the ahi tuna appetizer was great.

I was anticipating a "nice steak restaurant" and left disappointed. The food and drinks were ok, at best. The service was good though. First, we ordered flavored martinis. I was turned off that they came in a regular drink glass, not a martini glass (so they were 3/4 of the way empty). The waitress apologized stating they had a special in the bar so they were out of martini glasses (ok, then wash them or have an adequate supply). The bread on the table was extremely dry and unappealing (almost felt stale that it had been out too long). The appetizer, spinach dip, came. The flavor was alright but it was barely warm and the cheese wasn't melted because of that. I tried to overlook that, until.... the salad came. Sorry, I am not impressed with cheap, dry, bagged salad (iceburg lettuce) served with a plastic packet of salad dressing on my plate. I felt that was very tacky. To top it off, the baked potato came with dinner and yet another "packet" on my plate of sour cream. Tacky! Not the presentation I would expect from a nice steakhouse. My steak, petite filet, was good and seasoned well. My fiance's T-bone steak - eh, it was ok. Nothing spectacular. We also both ordered asparagus and I had (literally) 5 very tiny pieces of asparagus on my plate (my plate looked bare) and my fiance's plate had 11 pieces - no consistency there. A few tweaks and I would give it a little better rating (fresh lettuce or spring mix, NO packets of sour cream or salad dressing, appetizers served hot, nicer and more consistent and ample serving of vegetables, fresh bread, and drinks served in the appropriate glasses). We could have spent less and had better quality and tasting food at Outback. Sorry, but I doubt we will be back unless I see reviews that things have changed.

In town for the CWS. Our party of 8 was promptly seated and served. Menu was varied and prices reasonable and on par with other notable local steak houses. The whiskey rib-eye was nicely aged and properly cooked and seared to my requested medium rare. Everyone else at the table was also impressed with the quality of their cut. Overall, a very positive experience. Plan to make it a regular visit when I have the opportunity to return. (Hopefully on a yearly basis. Go Tar Heels!)

Under new owners. Only Warren Buffett and Bill Gates can afford to eat there. Holy smokes the prices are WAY out there from where they were. I understand inflation but raising prices and reducing the amount of food?????? I have been eating there for over 30 years. Sad to say, that was my last visit to the ol' neighborhood.
