It's been over 3 months since I lost Scratchy. He was my very first cat I ever had. I found him behind a bush when he was only 2 weeks old. His mother took all her other litters with her and left him behind for some reason. I waited over a day for her to return and she never came back, so I finally took him in. I miss him and love him very much.

Just joined the community a few minutes ago because I love cats and have a kitten of my own. Her name is Daisy and she won't wake up for the camera introduction. Oh well, hello and good night everyone.

Sad, but true.

I remain ashamed and sickened not only by our Government, but by my countrymen and women's seeming apathy to refugee suffering.
Come to Cambodia, a land of no stray dogs and quality healthcare. Here is a fact sheet all about it that we have totally made up

This video made me smile and the kitten look just like my cat.

If this doesn't touch your heart, I'm not sure what will.

If this doesn't touch your heart, I'm not sure what will. This blind kitten was just given a toy for the first time in his life. What followed is so touching. See more cute, hilarious, funny pics, GIFs, videos on FunnyWorm. Everyday is a funday at FunnyWorm.

It truly is massive. You gotta be there in person to experience it's sheer size.

Angkor Wat is a temple complex in Cambodia and the largest religious monument in the world (first Hindu, then Buddhist). Constructed in the 12th century, the 820,000 square meter site features a moat and forest that harmoniously surround a massive temple at its center.

"The Daily Overview project was inspired, and derives its name, from an idea known as the Overview Effect. This term refers to the sensation astronauts have when given the opportunity to look down and view the Earth as a whole. They have the chance to appreciate our home in its entirety, to reflect on its beauty and its fragility all at once. That's the cognitive shift that we hope to inspire."

This is a clip from 3 weeks ago. I'm training my kitten to box, so she'll be ready for fight club when she gets older.

Not only did they handed Cambodia over to the regime that they help armed, they also destabilized Cambodia's government which led to the complete collapse of the country. Nixon and Kissinger are war criminals.

Ambassador: U.S. handed Cambodia to 'butcher' 40 years ago

Twelve helicopters, bristling with guns and U.S. Marines, breached the morning horizon and began a daring descent toward Cambodia's besieged capital. Residents believed the Americans were rushing in to save them, but at the U.S. Embassy, in a bleeding city about to die, the ambassador wept.

Forty years later, John Gunther Dean recalls one of the most tragic days of his life — April 12, 1975, the day the United States "abandoned Cambodia and handed it over to the butcher."

"We'd accepted responsibility for Cambodia and then walked out without fulfilling our promise. That's the worst thing a country can do," he says in an interview in Paris. "And I cried because I knew what was going to happen."
EDITOR'S NOTE: AP reporter Denis Gray, who covered the Cambodian War, was evacuated from Phnom Penh 40 years ago.
