Yes, THANK YOU to everyone out there that is or ever has been a Trustee of Awesome at an AF chapter somewhere in the world, and especially over at +Awesome Foundation - Calgary . Folks, that $1M was funded $100 at a time by ordinary people over the last 5 years with no tax benefit to themselves. All of these Trustees are the ones that helped make this happen and if it weren’t for people like them, +The Awesome Foundation would not exist. So THANK YOU to anyone and everyone out there who has ever contributed. :-)
Great News! +The Awesome Foundation just hit a Major Milestone: $1,000,000 granted collectively by AF chapters worldwide, just in time for its 5th Anniversary next month! +Awesome Foundation - Calgary contributed $29,000 to that, and all of those $1,000 no-strings-attached micro grants were funded $100 at a time out-of-pocket by various volunteer Trustees. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped contribute to those totals, ESPECIALLY those who are or have served as a Trustee at an AF chapter in their community over the last five years.

Isn't that Awesome? Save the Date: The grand opening is on June 7, 2014 and you're all invited!

Help families in need. Trade in your unused diapers for free Zoo passes this Mother's Day weekend!
Did you know that 1 in 5 Canadian mothers struggle to provide clean diapers for their children? In March 2013, the Bare Bottoms Diaper Drive received our $1,000 micro-grant to help kickstart their inaugural event, and now they need YOUR help to beat last year’s total of 62,000 diapers raised. The diaper drive culminates this Mother’s Day Weekend at The Calgary Zoo. Read on to find out how YOU can get involved with this worthy cause!
