We're delaying publication of the Rise of Aester tabletop book for a bit because people were hitting a point of nasty burnout, myself included.  Hopefully, working on it as we work on it rather than against an aggressive deadline will let us put out a better product, or, at least, not kill us as we're all still in non-RoA related day jobs.

The LARP is coming along splendidly-we're getting great numbers and we have both a chronicle end game and a 2012 finale mapped out.

Clockwork Alchemy went well.  Pictures of my costumes....eventually.

I have spent the first 2 hours of what should be productive time today chasing the cats in and out of the house, since apparently Lenore has learned to open doors, but not close them, and it's still cold up here.

Tea dyed silk (originally ivory) for a Rise of Aester costume project to be revealed after April game. The color is much nicer in person-some nice golden tones to it.

Have been busily working on a costuming project for RoA. Really want to post progress pics, but it's a surprise for my Seattle game folks.

Gah. I have the headache/bodyaches/general malaise crud that's going around. I have too much work to do for that. Rise of Aester this weekend should be good-another experimental game in terms of structure. Plans are already being put into place for April's game, where we will delve into some of the more mystical/spiritual aspects of the world. April-Jun is the "Introducing all sorts of weird stuff" quarter.

Mulling over costuming now for Clockwork Alchemy. Since the demo game we're running for Rise of Aester is likely going to involve a circus, I think I'm going to be going for Dark/Steampunk Carnival all weekend. I have a lovely new fascinator from +Adam Armstrong for my birthday that will work nicely with some existing pieces I have that just need some sprucing up.

Though I now need many, many more pairs of striped socks/tights. And maybe a fun prop or two, though, flying limits my options there.

Also, need to do stuff for my Forger Agamemnon crewmember. Though she? Ran away from the circus.

Had a chat meeting with my partner in crime for the Rise of Aester events at Clockwork Alchemy later this spring. Two conclusions I have come to afterwards.

1) This event is going to be fun in a way I haven't had in quite some times. It's kind of nice to think I'll be working, but not the one running the show, so I will have time to have fun. And the chaos we're potentially going to be creating will be awesome. The game setting is tentatively a circus. :-D
2) At the end of it all, I think I actually do get more done thanks to the internet. Chat programs and emails save my life because sometimes, I can't focus when I'm on the phone.

Random realization made about Rise of Aester: We have a steampunk world with plenty of room in it for barbarians, and our players are rapidly expanding the spirituality and mysticism of the people in the world. We're also really launching into have a true national metaplot, steered by the folks running local games. Exciting!

In other news, Rise of Aester's LARP is officially large enough that we have to have a formalized national organization, instead of an improvised one where I do all the work. First meeting to plan that is in two hours. I've been so tense about it for two days my right shoulder is a massive knot.
