This brewery had a very cool atmosphere, tiny and yet roomy. The staff were pretty awesome especially when explaining in detail about their beer. You gotta love what you do.

After escaping from a complete #$@% show at a nearby brewery, we found ourselves at Eagle Rock. Eagle Rock was much more laid-back than the "frat party meets suburbia" atmosphere at the other brewery, and we were happy that we could easily find a spot to enjoy our beers. They had a wide spectrum of beers, from a low ABV mild ale to an 11% imperial IPA. I have seen mixed reviews on this brewery, so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I really enjoyed all of their beers. The imperial IPA, Populist XL, was exceptional. Sometimes imperial IPAs come out too bitter or too boozy, but this one was just about perfect. I just wish I would have bought a bottle to take home. Eagle Rock Brewery has a similar vibe to many of the taprooms in San Diego, and I felt at home there. The lighting was a bit intense though, and I could have done with a little less direct lighting. It is definitely a spot for people who are looking to enjoy drinking quality beer, not those looking for a party scene. If you are looking for a party, might I suggest Golden Road...

Love the cozy atmosphere and beer selection. Must try their Red Velvet Imperial Red with Rye 10.8% ABV, Norm II Smoked Porter 6.5% ABV, and Unity Pale Ale 5.5% ABV.

Man, this is tough... four stars for the beer but two stars for the vibe leveling out at three. On my recent visit we rolled in and it felt like a hospital. It was silent, the room felt sterile and made me feel like I was sitting in a waiting room. Beer to the rescue, right? Yes. The beer was good, (I especially enjoyed the Solidarity) but the service was tense. Almost like you'd expect to find from a frustrated nurse in the emergency room. Quick and unwilling to educate with the aura of beer snobbery clear and present. Not a bad stop on a beer tour but definitely not a great hang for an entire afternoon, though the sushi truck is oddly enticing.

First time in was more than pleasant. I wasn't sure what I would find but was given a great suggestion and was pleased with the the Manifesto. I plan to visit on a weekly basis. Peace, love and good will to all

Great family run brewery in a converted warehouse in a tiny cul de sac off San Fernando road. Favorite is the Manifesto for refreshing quencher during hot L.A. nights. But always enjoy sampling flights of guest brews.

Nice small atmosphere, minimalist design, great beer. This is a great place to try a sampler flight if you've never been. Brewed on-location. As far as food is concerned, it isn't much. Try all the brews and you'll like (at the very least) one of them. +1 for Nitro Solidarity.
