went in to try and buy a good used car - a step up from what I have. the sales vultures were very aggressive and all over me until I firmly told them I did not want to spend more than 12K. When I stated that 2 different sales people in the general area simultaneously ducked their heads and laughed loud enough for all to hear and I was told they really dont like dealing in such "low value sales". Maybe its me but I feel 12K is a good chunk of change and that a dealership would be happy to find me something in that price range............its not like its a Ferrari dealership. I take it that they only want to make $20,000 + sales so they can afford to keep on making those God awful commercials using that orange bearded freak.

I went to, KIA Franklin to take advantage of a "$199 "0" money down on a 2016 Soul or Rio"for a manual It was NOT true...I was going to trade in existing car...They wanted to increase my already high monthly payment to $400-500...In short, NOT Awesome in the slighest. Liars, LIES LIES LIES... Buyer Beware!!! It's too bad~Good Business is remembered BAD BUSINESS IS PASSED ON~ They must spend that money of the cartoon of the owner that is impersonal...as he only reacts to his animated self. Not his customers.

Hi Marta, We were sorry we could not fulfill the deal as you wanted… The issue in your case was you owe more money on your car that it is worth. Of course that money has to come from somewhere - and therefore in a larger payment on your new car. The ad you referred to does not say anywhere that you could trade a car with negative equity. All that being said, please contact our general manager Tom Kuhn at 615-224-7973 so he can explain this in more detail and see what else can be done to get you in a car with a lower payment. Your situation will be the same at any dealership but here at Franklin Kia we will try the hardest to get you the best car for your budget.

My experience at Franklin KIA was so far from a typical car dealership interaction it was unreal. Our salesman Eleazar Velasquez made the experience relaxing and pleasant throughout, answering all of our questions thoroughly and guiding us through the entire purchase process efficiently. We have had some negative experiences in the past with car dealerships in general, and it was nice to have a positive outcome here. The people make the difference, and Eleazar made the difference for us.

The level of harassment is unreal. I spoke to a revolving door of bottom feeding salesmen then I left. Come to find that they were trying to sell me a car for 17k that was actively being advertised online for 13k at their location. They called to follow up and I told them I was not interested in purchasing from crooks and to leave me alone. Naturally they called me 6 more times and sent 4 emails. They are all theives. Because of the worst customer experience of my life, I am now upping my budget and going to Toyota where the sales people are appreciative of the customers that they recieve. I suggest everyone else follow suite or be prepared to regret it.

If you want to casually collect data on cars without being harassed, this location is not for you. Lot employees are lurking in the outside steps like vultures. I respectfully asked for some distance so that my wife and I can discuss the lot offerings and was denied. Instead the salesman hid behind cars behind us and followed us all over the lot. When we paused at a car he would pop out of no where with a comment. After two more pleas for privacy we walked off. Manager unapologetic. As a long time Kia customer, I will drive out of my way to never interact with these people again.

I was very impressed with the customer service at this location. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Even if you have poor credit, they'll help get you into any car. If you go, ask to see Rez. He was great and makes your satisfaction his priority. Definitely recommend

We purchased our 2011 Soul and our 2013 Rio here and get them serviced here as well. The customer service and all the maintanece done on our car has been excellent!! The service attendants are very knowledgable!! Thank you for all the wonderful service!!

We have used this dealership in the past for Kia service only. I do not know about sales here as we have never purchased from this dealership. I have visited here several times for oil changes. Normally, the wait is quite extensive, but aside from that, the experience is simply OK. Nothing bad, but nothing great either. I have also had a repair or two done here, and my consistent experience is that they will not call when your parts come in; you have to do the follow-up. Also, calls transferred to the service dept frequently go to voice mail; this should not be the case during normal business hours. With that said, my last experience will prevent me from every using this dealership again. My wife's Kia sport utility has had a fairly obvious creaking sound coming from the back of the car for about a year now. A few months ago, I asked for it to be looked at during an oil change. Supposedly, they found the problem and ordered a part to correct the issue. After having to followed back up a few days later to find out if the part had come in, I was able to take the car by to have the work done. I was given a loaner car, but the process to get that set up was quite extensive. It also had no gas in it which was quite inconvenient. I let the folks know what time I would need it complete by to pick it up that day and was assured I would receive a phone call. I didn't. At the last minute, I called and was told it was ready. Why had no one called me? I picked up car, and shortly after, I heard the noise; it had not improved in the slightest. There was literally zero change, and it seemed that they had not even tested it. I called the service dept back and was transferred to the tech who helped me. It went to voicemail, and I left a message explaining that the issue was not corrected. And here is where everything fell apart: my phone call was never returned. So thanks to this experience, I no longer use Franklin Kia. My experience showed me that they do not stand behind their work, and I got the feeling that they never took me seriously, even though I was initially very patient and understanding that noise issues can be difficult to diagnose. Also, they did unnecessary work costing Kia unnecessary money is replacing a part that there was no issue with. Fast forward to today... I got my oil changed at another Kia dealership. They were warm and kind and kept me posted with the progress. They also spent a fair amount of time diagnosing the noise, and they very easily fixed the issue. There was no need to replace any parts; they simply had to adjust a seal around the rear door. Beyond the other dealership fixing the issue, they were warm and kind and helpful. That's what makes for a great customer experience, and that is why I will use them instead of Franklin Kia from now on.
