The Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award is the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government to employers for their support of employees who serve in the Guard and Reserve.
What sets your employer apart from others? How do they help you meet your military service obligations? Did they provide childcare while you were deployed, or take care of your lawn? Do they check on your spouse, family members, or perform home repair in a time of crisis in your absence? Elaborating on all of the ways in which your employer supports you, your family, other service members and the military community as a whole will ensure the strongest nomination possible.
This is your chance to enhance your nomination by providing thorough explanations of why your employer deserves to be considered for this award!
