I'm having quite a bit of fun working on this one, although I seem to have changed it a few times. I'm really enjoying creating the semi-realistic faces, while still trying to stay in the whole Artamantium style. The little minions seem to be turning out quite good and funny (and a little creepy).

So I tried to make the eyes a little more realistic with the "Alchemist" illustration but didn't really achieve the result I was looking for. This time however I think I am getting there with the "Little Horns" illustration.

Here is the final reveal of the Monster Project 2017 to the kids. Here you can see Bailey who was the creator/concept-artist of the art-piece I worked on! Had a lot of fun being a part of this!

The inspiration behind the creation of the "Alchemist" was an older art-piece I had created 3-4 years ago named "Magic".

After the concept drawing, next comes the breaking into layers and groups. Giving various colors to the layers helps see the what goes with what. Anyway, this new illustration now has just begun!
