conducting a review of Mozart in the Jungle.
Sophisticated humor and great characters build to a crescendo in this free if you have amazon prime TV show.   I wasn’t even going to watch this show. I had thought about
it, but dismissed it. It looked like it might be boring, and I don’t love
classical ...

Brooklyn
Sweet and sad, lovely and beautiful.   This was a dramatic 1950s love story. I loved it! I will see
it again, but I do love these types of movies. The cool thing about this film
for me was how well I related to it, even though the main character and I hav...

Our Brand is Crisis.
Getting mooned by Sandra Bullock was hilarious. Ok, that was my only spoiler, but I think it was in the
trailer. I thought this movie was good. I had medium to high expectations. I was
not disappointed, but it certainly didn’t exceed them. There were a few ...

Burnt
Clean and Bold . This film was a drama. Don’t be fooled!   This was not a romantic comedy. It was a short

I need an intern!   This film was funny and
charming. The Plot is just as you thought it would be. It was sweet, but
strong. I love a good female empowering mov...

Trainwreck (one word) was cute.
I saw an early screening, and I was lucky enough to see a
tiny Q&A with the cast before the movie. It was BEFORE the movie, so of
course, I didn’t have any great questions yet. It was pretty cool to meet the
cast though.   I sat two rows from Judd Apata...

Kingsman: The Secret Service
Surprisingly funny. I liked this movie, and might even try
to see it again. When I walked into the free screening, I was worried. I knew
this movie had the same producer (Matthew Vaughn) of one of my other favorite
movies “Kick Ass “and the sequel. But, the...

Comet
Cinematic sweet spot of clever and beauty. I loved it! The main
character always feels like he is at risk of missing things. Granted, he does
miss a lot, so he is not being paranoid. Don’t be like him. Don’t miss this
film! It was like the movie “Stay” mash...
