This was done for the weekly challenge to take a macro photograph of something in the kitchen. It was done with a reverse-mounted 35mm f.18 Nikon lens on my D90.

Doing the assignment was a good experience for me.  I got some hands-on experience with doing macro photography, including framing something in a very small area with a very shallow depth of field and how to light the object.  It's not a photo that will hang in a gallery somewhere, but I am happy with it and, more importantly, I had fun doing it.
