Ellwood City junior Nick Ioanilli (4 total touchdowns) and Riverside junior Jason Dambach (264 yards passing, 3 TDs) both had outstanding games for their respective squads Friday evening helping the Wolverines (2-2 overall) and Riverside (3-1 overall) both collect section victories. PHOTOS: After a week where the Wolverine football team looked like they were on their way to having a good start to the young 2014 campaign, a familiar foe came into Helling Stadium and lit up the score board as New Brighton routed Ellwood City 38-13 in section play. http://ow.ly/BdZCM

Following the contest, a ceremony and unveiling of a 'Campbell's Cages' sign in honor of former coach Bud Campbell will take place beyond right field. Local students Grace Henderson & James Mangiapane lead the cast performing "Sound of Music" at Portersville Christian School. The cast will perform the iconic classic beginning Thursday evening, April 10th and continuing on April 11th, and April 12th. All shows will begin at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for college students with ID, and $ 5 for students. Children 5 and under are free.
