Have no fear, soon-to-be-Pintrest fan -- we'll show you the ropes.

It's been about 6 months since I recovered from my back surgery I had at Los Robles w/ Dr. Spayde. I had trouble with the incision healing so the Los Robles Homecare nurses came to my house every day to change the dressing, take my vitals and see how I was recovering. I recommend them whole-heartily. Not only are they professional, knowledgeable, dedicated and reliable but they are also warm and caring. Each day they ask you about your symptoms, past symptoms and take detailed notes. You may see a couple different nurses each week but each knows your case and where you left off yesterday. I wish I could list all of the names of the nurses that contributed to my recovery but I'd like to especially mention Romana who oversaw all of the nurses on my case. One day Romana came for my visit and I wasn't feeling well. After taking my vitals and hearing my symptoms she disagreed with 2 doctors and urged me to go to the ER for a scan. Romana was lovingly-insistent. She was really concerned. I did not want to go back to the hospital but I trusted Romana's advice and medical experience. Romana urging me to go to the ER saved my life. Suzanne Mom of 2 Agoura Hills, CA

I've been visiting Western Bagel and Bruggers lately and then found East Coast Bagels. You never have to wonder what's fresh- you can see them loading the baskets the whole time you are in there. The bagels are really plump and they are very generous with cream cheese and other sandwich fillings.

My in-laws are foodies and I knew this was the perfect place to take them. They loved it- every meal. I have eaten at Fins 4 times now and am so impressed that every meal is so original, well made, quality and attractive. The Ahi Tuna salad is my favorite but I keep ordering different things because there are so many interesting choices. I've never sat inside because it's a bit dark for my taste but their front patio is nice. The food is excellent from the large internationally flavored salads to the beautiful fish. I even had the hamburger once because it was described so deliciously. This place is great for business meetings, family dinners, or with friends. The only bad meal you'll have here is one that you ask for 100 substitutions- but they will happily make it how you want it. Try the nutty raisen bread they bring to the table! and the Tamarind Margarita!

I'm so distraught that I live in Los Angeles, too far from this incredible restaurant. I dined at Tamarine this week with a large group and was able to taste many of the dishes. Of the apps the tuna tartare was excellent as were the tea leaf beef and shrimp cupcakes. For dinner I was in love with the clay pot cod, the emperors rice, the prawns, and the hamachi. Let's not forget the beverages- I had drink with passion fruit juice which was excellent. The white wine sangria was just eeeh, nothing fabulous. My colleagues had the x-tini and ordered a second round of them. Love, love, love. Don't miss this nirvana.
