Ditty, the new kitten for the Kalmar Nyckel, about 7 weeks of age. I don't know who took the photograph; I didn't. The captain shared it and she's too darn cute to resist sharing. Ditty goes to 11 on the cuteness scale!

Ah HAH! This is the adorb fuzzy we saw on Aug 14 in Lewes, while the Capt was doing an exercise with the crew (volunteers???), we got some pics of her by the sleeping dog on the port side. Then a crewmember came down the gangway with her and set her on the dock where she posed wonderfully.

We all wanted a good moderate Republican president, and we got him: Barack Obama.

I was mulling it over and realized Obama is to the right of Richard Nixon -- the Republican who brought us the EPA, desegregated some Southern schools, pulled out of Vietnam, instituted wage and price controls, opened diplomatic relations with Communist China, launched the fight against drugs,  supported the Civil Rights Act, implemented the 'Southern Strategy', and supported abortion rights.

Hell, Obama is to the right of Ronald Reagan.

we petition the obama administration to: STOP the court-martial of military men and women who try to commit suicide. Tuesday, Nov 27, 2012 the military's highest court listened to a controversial case...
