Fondue is a fun and interactive dining experience and for almost a decade, The Melting Pot has defined the niche across the American dining scene.

The Melting Pot in Columbia MD is conveniently located at Village of Wilde Lake, about a half mile away from The Mall in Columbia. We are located on Twin Rivers Road which intersects with Governor Warfield Parkway. We're proud to be Howard County's premiere fondue restaurant.

Fondue at The Melting Pot can be enjoyed in a number of ways. Choose what is right for your occasion. Combine delicious cheese fondues prepared table side, fresh salads, scrumptious entrée, including your choice of seafood, steak, poultry, pasta and fresh local vegetables, and finish with a decadent chocolate fondue. We proudly offer gluten-free dining options for all four courses and can accommodate most food allergies as well.

The Melting Pot’s relaxed, leisurely dining experience sets it apart from other restaurants, giving you the gift of time to enjoy each other’s company. That’s not to say you can’t just pop in for a quick cheese or chocolate fondue if you’re in a hurry. But don’t take our word for it – come try the award-winning Melting Pot experience for yourself!

Great place for dessert! Ive been here on three occasions. Once for the main course, twice for the dessert. My husband and I had the seafood and beef entrees. I didn't enjoy the experience nor the taste. The salad appetizer was delicious however. Our server Michael (no longer works there sadly) was attentive and met our needs. Everyone is nice though. I came a second and third time to try the dessert portion. THAT is what Melting Pot is truly about. It was superb. I always bring my girlfriends here for their birthday. They have a birthday package I always get with a balloon and a tiny box of chocolate attached as well as a picture at the end that they print right away. Love it!!

Been going to Melting Pot in Columbia, MD for almost 5 years. This past time was the last time I will ever go. The quality of the food has completely taken a nose dive. There is no way I'm paying $120 for 2 people to have soggy/rotten lettuce, dippers that consist of tomatoes and cucumber, and watered down drinks from the bar. Very sad that the quality has gone down so much, will miss coming to this location and fingers crossed this isn't the same for other Melting Pots

Food was okay, if you aren't too hungry. Takes too long to cook your own food, and kinda expensive. But they did get us in right away and service was good. May go back one day, but not any time soon.

Easily one of the best restaurants in the area. It may be a chain, but it is so much nicer than what one might think. OUTSTANDING food, wonderful service, and this location is exceptionally well-managed. We go several times a year, and the staff remembers us, knows what we like, and always goes the extra mile. It can get somewhat pricey depending what you order, but it is still a good value because you get so much food, and it is just delicious. This is great for special occasions, taking close family, dates, and client meetings. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant.

The Melting Pot is a great place to go to sit, relax and have a great conversation. Yes you cook your own food, but that is the idea of fondue. Plan to spend at least an 1.5 hours there. They give you cheese of you choice, bread and veggies for dipping, salad of your choice, and then the meal (The meats to cook in your broth)The food does not look like much, but it is plenty. I recommend spending the 5 extra dollars for the flavored broth, because once you cook your meat and veggies in it, it is delicious. I have tried the oil broth, but I didn't like it, because it is like deep frying. The desert is definitely worth getting, and that is my wife's best part! Also, they give you apples, but I save them for last and dip them in the chocolate.
