Very interesting, and timely - http://www.useit.com/alertbox/web-typography.html
Decent computer screens with pixel densities of 220 PPI or more lead to new usability guidelines for on-screen typography.

Interesting, and in line with my observations. Looking forward to seeing more 7.5 H/W.

Some MS keyboards have Insert key where "Home" or "End" key use to be. A good way to solve this problem

Even tablet reviewers cite the lack of full screen area for droid users. Would be great to have a drag up system bar or more configuration on this. Lights out mode is not cool.

Cool.. Even though I don't see any use for a mouse on my TF101 Android tablet (I figured I'd need to get a Bluetooth one anyway), I wanted to stick something in the USB port. Just plugged the Logitech Anywhere MX mouse transmitter in (thanks Stu), and my wireless mouse works in Android.. just like that! :)

I have been very happy with 2.3.4 on my Nexus S. It is a great OS and a great phone. There are a couple issues with certain types of calendar invites showing properly in the gmail client which is disappointing since they are all google products but otherwise it seems to be very stable. Granted they are 2 separate streams of the OS. Lets see what 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich) does in merging the two. I am hoping to get some more features from the tablet stream.

Arduino Mega ADK is in! Can't wait to control something. Will take a bit of time to work out controlling the board (unfortunately, the common DemoKit sample app requires a bunch of sensors to be connected), but I did get my first HelloWorld compiled and running.

Overview. The Arduino ADK is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega2560 (datasheet). It has a USB host interface to connect with Android based phones, based on the MAX3421e IC. It has 54 digital ...

Koji, Yesterday someone was talking about hooking up an accelerometer on an arduino board. Very cool indeed!

This is great, I don't agree with the sampling of tablets, as there are others which contradict this slightly, but this is certainly the truth for mainstream, and the changes in H/W design that seemed to take place shortly after Apple gained so much market.

Agreed. The iphone is a similar issue. How many "Super Phones" are clamshell or have stylus' (styli? Styluses?). With the exception of the slide out keyboard what non-iphone features do you see out there since the last couple iphones.
