Very cool.
The U.S. Marines have unveiled their latest toy - an amphibious sea tank capable of cruising both land and sea. The unveiling took place at the Marine Corps Training Area Bellows in Hawaii where a prototype of the vehicle, named the Ultra Heavy-lift Amphibious Connector (UHAC) drove to USS Rushmore, picked up an assault vehicle and transported it back to shore. The UHAC has been designed to storm beaches as well as transport troops across waters. Yet to enter service, the finished vehicle is expected to have a top speed of 25mph and will be capable of scaling walls as high as 10ft.
