My photos of my lunch at Blackbird in Chicago. It's a great deal (and one of the rare restaurants that does a set menu) for lunch.

A 1* Michelin restaurant serving a creative 3-course lunch for $22? Sign me up.

This is my last of my holiday gift guide series for the year. It's a mix of everything food related from edible goods, teas, coffee, to ingredients you might cook with to actual pans you would cook with.

It's a broader scope of everything food related and it'll probably until next year I'll produce a better e-magazine format that works with iPhones and iPads without having to generating a PDF file for those readers to view them.

Happy browsing!

Do leader boards, with top 10 lists, most-liked posts and most-clicked search results have too much control over what is successful in business and culture?
Lists of favorites, staff picks and likes essentially tell us what to buy, while the universe of things not on the list is obscured.

Packing my bags for Chicago. Can't believe it's that soon. Then again, 2011 blinked by so quickly.
