“YOU WANNA PIECE OF ME BOY?

I did a sketch of this piece a few days ago and decided to clean it up and put some colours on it. Marine corps for ever! that was my moto when having a good Starcraft session. SC2 came out and I just couldn’t believe it, it came out after such a long time. I love this game and these characters were part of my childhood. I hope you all like this piece.

After a day of work at the studio I decided to come home and finish this piece that had been neglected by me before Christmas due to planing for the graphic novel I’m working on and finishing my sketchbook for The sketchbook Project.

Princess Mononoke is one of those films that have influenced me and my work heavily, so I had to get this piece out of my system at some point and draw my own version. I have to say I had a great deal of fun working on this and it was truly inspiring.

I was invited to be part of the guest week at the great DUNGEONS & DRAWINGS blog ( http://dungeonsanddrawings.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/guest-week-death-night-by-christian.html ), so I did one of my favorite monsters/characters from the monster manual 2. I havent played Dungeons and dragons in ages I should look into it.

I finished this piece which started in my sketchbook a few weeks ago. I’m publishing it this week to celebrate the launch of the game BATMAN IMPOSTORS.

What Craig Thompson himself drew on my book in a few seconds. Damn he is talented, and he even took the time to chat properly to everyone who came to see him.

One of my childhood friends decided to pimp up his studio in Canada with one of my prints making me feel very flattered about it. If it’s ok for me to say, I think it looks really cool :D

Lovely family run Barber shop. I met the owner (who was cutting my hair) and he was telling me about how many years he's had the barber shop for and how he is very proud of his children continuing the tradition. The atmosphere was very relaxed and my haircut was flawless. he stopped 3 times at least to make sure I was getting what I wanted and at the same time made lovely conversation without taking his eyes of the ob at hand. I love old school barbershops like this one. I'm definitely going back for my next haircut.
