Dude I'm loving that little board! I'm thinking of adding guide arms to it. Thanks for the help. :)

Introduction
I'm an inventor, artist and educator. I work mainly with sound.

For specifics, check out my website: www.JoeMariglio.com .

As an artist, I perform constantly. Usually this gets me into trouble. My aesthetic is visceral, absurd, and unsettling. Sometimes it's funny. I also build robotic sculptures and musical instruments. I've been making music for at least as long as I could talk. These days I enjoy making experimental puppet theater, eccentric pop music, and harsh electronic noises.

I build my inventions mostly out of military surplus parts. They're hard to describe. Usually, they involve some combination of sculpture, sound, and technology. Sometimes I perform with these things, sometimes they're for my research. My research currently involves the intersection of optics and acoustics. I like waves.

I also teach people of all levels (preschool through college) skills like instrument building, sound design, and critical thinking. I've led several children's experimental music ensembles. Usually, my goal is to incite people to take their toys apart and build new toys.
