In The Gaslight Effect, Stern encourages women to be fearless about their right to be treated well, to be fearless about insisting on their own point of view, to be fearless about carving out their lives, with their values. ‘When you are fearless, you are empowered and you can heal or opt out of gaslighting or any other destructive relationship dynamic.’

‘Late in 2012, I experienced a severe destructive trauma; Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD): it is not a mental illness. It is an injury; an emotional trauma injury which continues to have a resounding impact on my life and that of my family and friends.  I had been in a psychologically abusive relationship that ended horribly impounding the abuse from which I suffered PTSD.’
I started to write On The Edge and it has taken on a life of it's own. To all of you readers of the blog I am most grateful.

“The harder Chris drilled into her, transcended her life, bonded her soul, the easier it was for him to coerce, charm, manipulate, control, degenerate and finally wrench her from her sanity.”
