Caveat Emptor. I had purchased a Pulsd deal a while back that expired on May 17, 2015. I called to make reservations on May 16, 2015 for that night (late, admittedly, but I have never seen the place packed to anywhere near capacity and I live across the street). To my surprise, they had a private event that night and would not be able to seat us. So I asked about alternatives and they guy on the phone said that he would write my name down and that we could use the Pulsd deal after the expiration date (two entrees, 1 bottle of wine). Now it is Sunday, May 31 and they are not honoring that statement, in fact the "guy in charge" on the phone can only offer an apathetic "I'm sorry he misinformed you" and nothing else. I would have definitely come in the next day (Sunday, May 17th) and used the deal if I had known that. If a restaurant really thinks that is ok to have staff make such promises and then not, upon discovering a mistake, rectify the situation with the customer and then inform staff upon the marketing practices currently in place, you have a serious issue.

I came here with a groupon voucher for dinner. We had a choice of an entree and a glass of wine each for 2 people for $29. I had the steak frites and my girlfriend had the duck confit. Both dishes were really tasty and well seasoned. The steak was cooked medium and I liked the herb butter on top. The fries were crispy and thin. The duck confit came with vegetables and quinoa which was interesting for a French place. The service was great as well. Also, when the check came, there was no tax so it was an awesome deal.

Lovely brunch spot. I came here for a deal I had purchased ($29 for a Bottomless Brunch for 2) and was pleasantly surprised. The space was modern, French bistro style - very open and sunny. The Eggs Viking was delectable and promptly served. I only managed to get 2 cocktails in, but it was more than worth what we paid. Not sure I'd normally pay $14 for a mimosa (more than the entrée!) but it was an enjoyable experience. My only grievance would be that as the place filled up, our server was nowhere to be found and took awhile to wave down. Regardless of that, I'd definitely recommend for brunch.

Service not as good. I had a reservation and when I got there 930pm there wasn't anyone there to really seat me down right away. The person for got to get water, 30 minutes later. Didn't check up on us, or offer us anything else, such as refill, drinks, or desert. The Fillet mignon is delish and the vibes is very nice. The place also looks very well decorated.

I was pleased with Cantine Parisienne. The space is lovely — open and airy and full of glass and light. Food is pretty solid. Veal comes in a peppery cream sauce, steak frites is tender and spot on, mussels are plump and nicely seasoned. Basil mayo is a must for fries. Service is friendly, knowledgable, and solicitous without being overbearing. My only misstep was ordering the mussels (my go-to, tasty but not what I was craving) rather than the steak, which would have hit the spot.

I would highly recommend either the veal or the steak frites. Either way, definitely stay for dessert!
