She sounds and looks great. The intonation, action and overall setup was just about spot on to my preferences. Loved the picture Gibson included for their final QC check. Looks like Gibson turned a page for the positive for the overall customer care and quality.

The warm tones are amazing. As I get older the audiophile in me seems to get muffled by a case of tinnitus but I can make out at least 7 distinct warm tones with just a simple switch and pull of the knobs. Thus far, very pleased and may be time to letgo of a few ESPs hanging on the wall as this will definitely cover the feel and tones. My new goto along side my Ibanez.

Gibson 2016 Les Paul Standard Plus Top T. She will be delivered this Wednesday. Went with the Tea Burst. Absolutely stunning!!! I played about 6 different HP's both 2016 and 2017. Well I'm all about new tech but the robot tuners IMHO are crap and for some reason the weight didn't seem very balanced and the tone was just not there. The Standard T just sounds so much better to me. This beast has ten different tone sound options from bright to low and everything in between.

Finally got my pedal board built. Nice not having to rip everything apart to and from practice. So far I'm pretty impressed with the pedal power supply. I get zero humm, well except from the '78 distortions when I have my compression pedal on. But it's not too bad. Since I have two tuners (one in my wireless unit) I may play with putting the TU-3 at the end of the chain.

Always loved a little drummer show boating. This guy embraces the song through his playing and expression. Love lol

After trying several different combinations this seems to be the best pedal order for tone. When I plug in my ESP with the active EMGs the chorus in this position gets muddy. Pretty weird. Easy fix was to pull off the level by 10 degrees. (Hate active pickups). Also after spending 2 hrs at the music store comparing ODs and tube screamers I found that the OCD Fulltone blows away the Ibanez tub screamer. Pretty awesome and doesn't change the tone just a nice boost.

UPS just delivered my new ax today. The Quilted maple top is absolutely beautiful IMO. The prestige treatment frets are smooth and very fast. The hot grinders sound great but I think I may swap them out with some DiMarzio D-Sonic and an Air Norton. Or the new Petrucci signature. The low pro edge stays in tune like a beast!
