Trader Joe's is a neighborhood grocery store with amazing food and drink from around the globe and around the corner. Great quality at great prices. That's what we call value.

Very happy with Trader Joe's! People expect them to be more expensive because they aren't one of the huge grocery stores, but in fact many items are less expensive than the major grocery stores. I am updating my review after a year because the service is just getting better and better. When I need to purchase an item of which they might run low, I call ahead and they will set it aside for me. I love that they have samples so we can try a product before purchasing it, and they have some great, creative recipes. They have a wonderful selection of organic produce. We shop at different grocery stores for different items, but Trader Joe's is on our list every single week.

Living in a few of the Pacific Northwest major metropolitan cities, I've had opportunity to shop several Trader Joe's locations. TJ's Bridgeport is smaller than many, but the employees are no less involved. Several have worked here for years and are always eager to help whether you are looking for something special or just by sharing a kind word for your day. The produce always looks fresh and well stocked. The demo kitchen is always sharing a tasty TJ's website recipe. Even if organic costs a bit more, this Trader Joe's gets their "bell rung" for quality service and going the extra mile

TJ's is the "It" store for two-person cooking. It is the Anti-Costco - packages are just right for a real meal for something less than a Brood. The packaged, spiced meats (they even have lamb) are great, the Carne Asada is a bit spicy). Nice, efficient cheese selection. The wine section has been raved over elsewhere. Just leave it at "3-Buck-Chuck: 'nuf said". I would not feed a family of four from TJ's, but for one or two, just troll the aisles, view the interesting people, and grab almost anything with a TJ's label. Don't sweat price, it'll be fair.

Just like California. Now we need a TJ's in Puyallup.
