Sony is losing money on the PS4 with every one sold. This was a fact revealed before it released when their president said that it would not be "as much" of a loss as the PS3 when it first released. Now it has been revealed that they are losing far more than they are making on software as well. The games simply cost to much to make now vs normal sales.

I pointed this out on here a while back and fanboys, blinded by their name brand obsession, got mad. They insisted that Sony's gaming divisions was doing well, simply because the PS4(which Sony sells at a loss) was selling more than the Xbone or Wii U. They didn't factor in that the PS4 is the only thing selling well. The Vita and its software are doing horribly. The PS4 software attach rate is also pretty bad. The PS4 is only doing well to the untrained eye using pure sales numbers without context. When you factor in that no PS4 sold is making them money, but is in fact losing them money, it doesn't spell success.

There are far more important things than specs, media features and graphics, but people who obsess over those things are killing gaming. If Sony would have went with a weaker, profitable console that took far less money to develop for, then they wouldn't be in as bad a shape as they are now.

Sony's last financial report to my knowledge listed a loss of 2 billion. I can only imagine what the next will be.

Only 9 days? Really?

The police are becoming one of the biggest enemies of people in this country.

The officer who rolled through a stop sign and claimed she was drunk (she wasn't) got 9 days suspension after wrecking her car and breaking her neck.
Footage shows cop ran a stop sign but arrested a sober victim for drunken driving.

Boko Haram, the Nigerian group that has carried out mass kidnappings, was rejected long ago by mainstream Muslims, but its recent abductions appeared too much even for fellow militants to condone.

How did I miss this :(

Why must Google keep making things worse?
We've heard that Google Voice is getting dragged to the trash can and most of its functionality will be incorporated into the G+ Hangouts apps on both Android and iOS. This has already happened to ...

When tech startups are willing to offer almost anyone -- even a journalist -- shares ahead of an IPO, a burst isn't far behind.

On December 10, more than two dozen police officers from across Miami Dade County converged on a blue Volvo that had crashed in the backyard of a townhouse on 65th Street just off 27th Avenue.
