THIS CAKE ALWAYS ELICITS A "WOW!" FROM OUR GUESTS!

Originally we made this recipe with raspberries so we nicknamed it our Razzle Dazzle Cake. We were delighted when we discovered that that it's equally dazzling when made with blueberries! You probably already have everything you need to bake this deliciously moist cake, so go ahead and make one today. We love serving it warm for breakfast, but it makes a great snack any time!

Enjoy this cake, and our other specialty blueberry treats, when you reserve your summer getaway to Wickwood today!
We’ve taken one of our guest’s favorites, the Razzle Dazzle cake and replaced the raspberries with blueberries. A crumbly pecan topping will make your guests’ taste buds jump for joy!

Wickwood is a Lovely Little Hotel!!From the moment we arrived our visit at this charming inn was first-rate.Ginger tea and wonderful cookies on the garden were the beginning of many taste treats. We were overwhelmed by the delicious flavors, creativity, and generousity of the foods served, morning, afternoon and evening. The Inn is quiet and peaceful-yet we were only a two minite walk to the very center of the village. Wonderful time.

Nice staff, well decorated but room and bathroom were very small. You had to go outside to change your mind. The sink in the bathroom didn't drain well and hot water was not hot. The "Villa Room" had a 2 inch gap at the bottom of the door, we could see light under the door and hear conversation from downstairs. The Bowdie Chop House which the staff recommended was very good. Not likely to return

My husband and I were recently married and received a generous gift Certificate for the Wickwood Inn from my Co-workers at Mary Free Bed Rehab. Hospital in Grand Rapids to celebrate our marriage. We booked our room in July and were looking forward to our stay. Unexpectedly, my husbands mother was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer the week prior to our Thursday night stay at the Inn. Monday afternoon I contacted the Inn explaining the situation and that we were hoping we could reschedule our stay if possible because she had been admitted to the Hospital Sunday evening with Severe Pain. I was told there would be no refund of our money, at that time I stated, "I am not asking for a refund, but would like to reschedule our stay for another night even off season would be fine with us". Again I was told that was not their policy. My mother in law passed away the next day on Tuesday unexpectedly. We were told she had 6 months or more.. I contacted the Inn 3 times with in the 2 weeks following her passing and was treated with disrespect, rudeness and total lack of compassion by the owner Julie. It was not about money to us, it was about celebrating a marriage, love and enjoying a beautiful gift from many of our friends. I as well s many of my co-workers will not recommend the Wickwood Inn to anyone given the way we were treated, during a time of mourning our loss.
