Many of the countries above have many of the characteristics of a socialists countries, while remaining officially free markets, at little socialism is acceptable, it's not black and white, it's about the grey.....America is just to black white and paranoid, some serious balance is needed... Jmo

There have been a lot of polls that have come out recently, and they all have one thing in common: Hillary Clinton is in trouble. Donald Trump is beating her in many general election match-ups, and it only looks like it’s going to get worse. Shouldn’t this scare us a little bit? Ring of Fire’s

Will doing the same thing (NAFTA) will get a different result with TPP: No

“Last year we were $539.75 billion in deficit with our trade balance and we have a cumulative balance of trade deficit going back to 1994 of a little over $9 trillion,” Hansen said.

“We’re going to bring in more imports than we’re going to do exports. And we’re going to further undermine our own domestic market. You have to measure both."

After 20,000 years, the world's oldest people face a crisis of culture

An indigenous people in Southern Africa, they are our oldest human ancestors, DNA testing proving the San are direct descendants of the first Homo sapiens. But today their culture, traditions and heritage are at risk of being lost forever.

"Culture on its own, it is what makes you who you are... It's upon us, the youth, to learn from these old people to promote our culture and to preserve it while they are still alive."

#culture
Caught between modernity and 20,000 years as hunter-gatherers, the San people sit at a crossroads.

NPR calls this a snapshot not a trend.

Crazy this is being voted on, or that this, "owing to the "Leader of the Nation" status parliament voted to grant him last year, which also affords him and his family permanent immunity from criminal prosecution." was passed in the same country.
Constitutional changes, if passed as expected, will allow President Rahmon to rule the central Asian state for life.

'The study, which was published online this month in Public Opinion Quarterly, shows that the McCain campaign’s negative ads about Obama overwhelmingly featured him with a darker skin tone in a subtle attempt to appeal to voters’ racial prejudices."
Which of these two President Obamas is smarter, better, and more honest? It should seem quite obvious, but it took scientists to finally bring the “mystery” of intense Obama hatred by some in the GOP, ranging from tea party members to Trump...

+DuJuan Daniels adds confirmation to throw at those in denial. Sometimes it helps. A lot of time it is ignored. But at least it is there.

Including Clinton. Which is why many of those on the left who are against wars and our support of them, can't vote for her.
Experts say lifting a UN arms embargo to fight ISIS could backfire.

If you circle me what are you going to get?
A lot of news and stories on issues that interest me from the categories above.  And an occasional light or funny post interspersed.

Stay on topics, and try to keep it relevant the majority of the time.  I'll try to be respectful, and welcome respectful responses back, even if I disagree with them.  I will challenge your views if I disagree though, but I will try to keep to the topic and not make it personal.  I expect the same from comments on my posts.  Keep it friendly.  That doesn't mean you can't disagree with me, that just means try to do it politely.

I'm not religious, but friendly to those who are who are open to other views.  Those that try to push or force their views will get challenged back. So if you can't handle that, you might not want to circle me.

I'm not perfect and don't expect anyone to be perfect either.  People make mistakes, I know I do.
