For 2014, the I3D conference is partnering with the Journal of Computer Graphics Techniques (http://www.jcgt.org/) to allow accepted JCGT papers to be presented at I3D and select I3D papers to be published as extended versions in JCGT.

Papers invited to submit extended versions to JCGT will be announced at the closing ceremony of the I3D conference. Extended versions should have at least 30% revisions and two of the original I3D reviewers will be included in the JCGT review process.

Authors who have submitted to JCGT before October 22, 2013 and wish to present that paper at I3D should contact the JCGT managing editor before the I3D notification deadline of December 4, 2013. The JCGT website http://www.jcgt.org has further details.

This partnership is in addition to the partnership I3D has had with the IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Graphics (TVCG) where TVCG papers can be presented at I3D and the best I3D papers will be invited to submit extended versions to appear in a TVCG special issue.

The I3D 2014 submission deadline is October 22, 2013. The submission site is available at http://precisionconference.com/~i3d

The I3D 2014 webpage and CFP are now up: http://www.i3dsymposium.org.

I3D 2014 is happening Mar 14-16, 2014 in San Francisco, CA. Additionally, the Game Developer's Conference (GDC'14) will be held right after I3D in the Bay Area making it an excellent opportunity to attend both conferences.
