A few more people would be nice, but in some ways it is nice not to have EVERYONE here :)

Can I negative star? Anyway, my Dad bought an ASUS laptop at the Jackson, MI store. After a few days it began having an issue where it wouldn't boot up. It would get to the BIOS screen and "load" until it was forcibly powered down. My parents were told by the workers that they had 30 days to return it (lie #1) so my Dad took it in. Geek squad saw the issue and they told him that if it's a motherboard issue, they will replace the laptop (lie #2). After ASUS replaced the motherboard and hard drive (for no apparent reason) my Dad and I picked it up. While at the Geek Squad counter, my Dad talked with the biggest tool in Best Buy's employment, a manager by the name of Ricky, who basically treated us like we knew what we were buying and it's our fault that it didn't work out. After Ricky walks away, the Geek Squad worker was polite and explained that the laptop had brand new parts (though there is no proof of this) and it is essentially a brand new PC. This would be true, except if they had exchanged it, it would have been resold as refurbished. My Dad is understandably angry as he spent over $1,000 for a refurbished machine and he was repeatedly lied to. My parents will never be buying from Best Buy, at least not this one, again.

Nice hotel. Valet parking is nice, but I would prefer to be able to go to and from my car at will.
