I started my online marketing business in 2004 and quickly fell in love. I decided to start this site as a way to hold myself accountable to my goals and as a way to test my skills and the knowledge I have picked up over the last couple of years in my internet marketing adventure. I am not a guru and I don’t want to be one, nor would I like to be thought of in that manner, so before you fall to your knees begging for the next “get rich overnight system” – please, restrain yourselves already – lol.
I felt like I could help myself and help others at the same time. Kind of like therapy… Why not document my thoughts, successes, and failures with complete strangers over a broadband connection at random hours of the day…
Have I made my millions? (am I making thousands while I sleep?) Nope, and nope – not yet, that is. Am I making money at internet marketing? Yup. But that’s the thing, I have been making random money at this venture for about the last three years. I just haven’t been able to get over the hump of weekly oddball sales and turn them into daily minimum wage earnings – lol. I am here to say that YES, you can make money on the internet, I’ve been doing it… as far as how much you can make, well that is to be determined.
You see, I have a lot of debt. Yes, that ugly word that is so representative of much, much more. For me it represents a sort of prison while trying to exist. You still get to live but all the while you are reminded of the fact that you can’t get out – you are stuck in the cycle of working to pay that debt and you incur more because you can’t make ends meet. No FUN! I want to pay it off. I want to do the right thing and pay those people back. That is one of my major goals right now.
So, if you’d like you can come along for the ride, and learn with me as I forge ahead – maybe get a few laughs out of it and learn what NOT to do!!!
I now use my talents as a marketer, copywriter, and internet strategist to grow my companies as well as consult local small businesses on how to increase their profits while better serving their customers.
I love what I do and love helping people.
