Exciting concept of wireless electric vehicle charging by Qualcomm Halo. http://youtu.be/3w8E34xvYis

This is really neat. Believe it or not, we have a lot of electric charging stations in Nashville... perhaps because it is the home of Nissan North America headquarters and working with the Tennessee Valley Administration and others, the state is pulling it off. I've even seen a Tesla here in Music City...

Does anyone know of an IE or Chrome plug-in to save Web pages to the Safari Reading List?

Seems like a rather pessimistic view of U.S. society generalized from the conditions at Amazon. What do folks think of Anand's assertion? http://www.nytimes.com/2011/09/24/us/24iht-currents24.html?_r=1

I think in part the comments are a reflection of the author's personal views rather than societal trends. America offers a richer connections and opportunities to people of from all walks and ethnic origins than pretty much any other country. There always have been and always will be pockets of injustice that will need to be exposed and expunged.

Great discovery! I really like Glenn Gould's treatment of this work.

Is SMS more vulnerable to interception of transmitted information than Fax, alpha-numeric paging, leaving voice mail messages, and conversations conducted over a mobile phone? What evidence is available regarding this question?

Most institutions already accept it as a fact (again without evidence) and prohibit texting PHI. The approach is analogous to the prohibition against using mobile phones on planes during takeoff and landing. http://abcnews.go.com/m/story?id=15214006

Texas is doing well in baseball and with the EHR incentive programs. How well is your state faring with Meaningful Use?

Any thoughts about why California is lagging? I know the state just launched the Medicaid EHR incentive program recently, but that doesn't explain the small number that have achieved MU. I would have expected more given the presence of progressive care delivery organizations such as Kaiser and the large number of providers in California.

Google+ question: What's the best way to 'bookmark' a post for later reading? With Twitter, when in browsing mode, I typically mark tweets as Favorites and then go back and review those tweets when I have time. I know that I could use Instapaper for links to articles shared via Google+, but then I would lose the context of who posted the reference.
