The sales associate was an hour late for our measuring appointment/quote, could only provide an installation date 3 weeks from the date of the quote, and once we committed, then delayed installation by another week.The sales associate stated it would be a 3 1/2 day job, and when the installer met with us, that then became an 8 day job. The first day of the job, I arrived at midday, and found the installers jack hammering the old tile, doors to the house wide open, and my A/C unit going full blast. I had specifically requesting that the installation supervisor ensure that the A/C was turned off prior to commencing the installation. I had requested (and been assured by the sales associate) that we could have the entire house tiled in the same direction, but, upon discussion with the installer, found out that it was not possible, so, I now have two bedrooms and one bathroom running in different directions than the rest of the house. The Formica on all our kitchen and bathroom cabinets was torn off as the installer said that the underlying wood was water damaged. I was offered assistance in obtaining a quote from a contractor, but declined as he allegedly wanted to replace the entire bottom sections. The wood is dry and in good shape. Upon completion of the job, I found that the cut tiles bordering our sliders, walls, and transition points into the other rooms were chipped significantly. Some tiles were scribbled on with Sharpies to conceal the chips. Additionally, a dent in the drywall of our kitchen wall was left damaged, one of the two pantry doors was left un-hung as one of the installers told me that it "needs to be shaved down now." The installer and installation manager came to our home to address my complaints, offered to repair the drywall, hang the pantry door, and "grind down and stain the chipped tiles." Efforts and corrections that, in my opinion should have been made upon final inspection of the job, and not waited until I complained. In regards to the chipped tiles, I was told that "no saw blade out there will cut this tile without chipping it", and that chips should be expected (despite the fact that neither the sales associate nor installer mentioned this prior to me accepting their quote). I declined on their tile repair proposal as I didn't want my home further disrupted, and felt that grinding and staining the chipped tiles was not an option that would actually improve their appearance. I requested that the price be reduced by 10% as compensation for the issues, and I was told that my request was "completely unreasonable." So, I paid the $16,600 bill, vowed to alert other potential customers to this disappointing experience, and will never deal with this company again.

I had a similar situation where the sales associate failed to call us back and when we called him he did not even remember who we were! It was only a couple days after dealing with him! He had all our info written down, but even when we explained the items we had wanted, he still could not remember.
