Did you know #Petrotechnics was recently recognised as a "Cool Vendor" by leading analyst firm Gartner? Cool vendors are transforming the way businesses operate and consumers engage with technology. They inspire organizations to think differently, challenge conventional thinking and offer distinct competitive advantage. Find out what Gartner had to say about Petrotechnics' Operational Performance and Predictive Risk software platform: http://www.petrotechnics.com/news-and-media/press-releases/petrotechnics-named-cool-vendor-in-oil-gas-by-leading-analyst-firm-gartner

#Petrotechnics, the global leader in transforming frontline operational performance and lowering operational risk has succeeded in raising over £10,000 for #Aberlour, Scotland’s Children’s #Charity.

As part of Petrotechnics’ efforts to raise money, members of the Aberdeen office took part in The Aberdeen #Kiltwalk, walking up to 26 miles from Duthie Park to Potarch. With a Petrotechnics sponsored pit-stop along the way, staff were also on hand to dispense some much needed refreshments to weary walkers in the glorious sunshine.

Jason Collins comes out and Obama considers Syria

I disliked my stay here. The room itself was spacious enough (I was on the 1st or 2nd floor - difficult to tell after a while!) although the television in the room was pain to use. It buzzed loudly and incessantly as if about to explode whenever I used it. The remote didn't work on the TV, just the carefully hidden set-top box on the table. Not major problem since I wasn't planning to spend much time in the room but annoying nonetheless. Some of the staff were very nice but many seemed indifferent or surly. The walls of my room were paper thin so I heard absolutely every sound from everyone around me. Water pressure was nonexistent, the shower controls counter-intuitive, the "green economy" toilet flush so economic as to be barely functional. The evening meal that I had (a vegetable curry) was poor. It really tasted like an awful lot of generic value curry powder and tinned tomatoes. Wifi although free is extremely slow, poor and unreliable (at least when you go above the ground floor - it's just slow on the ground floor). The hotel might work for a brief stay where perhaps it's a place to start and end the day but I found it difficult and frustrating in most other respects.

I've just had the good fortune to sell my car to Samy and what a refreshing experience it was. Polite, courtesy and straightforward - dealing with Samy has been one of the most pleasant car selling experiences I've had in years. Samy was clear about what he wanted, why he wanted it and when it came to negotiation he was very clear why he was saying what he was saying. It's a much needed breath of fresh air to have that kind of openness in the car trade. I can't recommend him highly enough.

Absolutely wonderful! I can't recommend it highly enough!! I needed a place to stay in Maastricht for a local christening. I choose this place on a recommendation for a friend of a friend. I didn't know what o expect and so I went with low expectations. I was was utterly blown away. Excellent service from the very second I walked in and was greeted by a genuinely beaming smile through the completely prompt and painless booking in and on to the cup of paprika soup that was offer. I can't recommend this establishment highly enough, as a base of operations it's location is outstanding - across the road from the station and within easy walking distance of everything, but more important the staff are excellent. The décor is quirky and chic with so many delicate and characteristic touches I lost count. Breakfast was fun (a good mix of continental and English/American) if a little light. I liked it a lot.
