Rachel Swirsky is a fiction writer who lives in Bakersfield, California. She holds an MFA from the University of Iowa. Her short stories have been published in Subterranean Magazine, Tor.com, Weird Tales, Fantasy Magazine, the Konundrum Engine Literary Review, and others.
