A. Bradley Nelson joined Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc., in September 2013 as senior vice president of marketing. Based in New York, Nelson is responsible for developing and strengthening the company’s strategic vision for real estate marketing and technology as well as its marketing services platforms, all while leveraging opportunities provided by Sotheby’s auction house and the Sotheby’s International Realty® network.
Nelson previously served as vice president, marketing, for TTR Sotheby’s International Realty in Washington, DC, where he led marketing, technology and communications strategies supporting associates in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Among his accomplishments, he implemented a technology platform that set new industry standards for digital marketing services.
From 2009 to 2012, Nelson was vice president, marketing, for Premier Sotheby’s International Realty in Naples, Fla., where he directed marketing initiatives, public relations and international events. He served in this role during a period when the firm expanded from two offices to a regional powerhouse consisting of 19 offices that generated more than $2 billion in annual sales and achieved multiple new price records for residential real estate in Florida.
Prior to his work with affiliates of Sotheby’s International Realty, Nelson held multiple marketing roles in the real estate development industry. As director of marketing for Baldwin Park Development Co., Nelson led marketing execution and digital strategy for the nationally acclaimed, 1,100-acre Baldwin Park community, which received the Award of Excellence from the Urban Land Institute in 2004. During his tenure, he helped build a state-of-the-art sales center and produced several award-winning advertising campaigns, television commercials and websites. Nelson began his real estate career in 2002 in the marketing department at East West Partners.
Nelson attended the College of Business at James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va., where he concentrated in marketing and international business.
