Nice place for lunch, coffee, dinner - whatever you chose, you get good food and an exceptional view here. I loved my salad, their bread is amazing and for dinner we tried some meed and it was perfect. The only thing that I would change is the lilikoi dessert, while done very well, I would take out the chocolate ganache, to get pure lilikoi (I just like it so much).

The atmosphere was so relaxing I could have taken a nap. The ocean breeze, right on the water. I could have stayed forever, and you kinda can cause the place is so big they aren't trying to rush you out. I had the Cajun fish salad. It had bacon and lilikoi dressing. Perfectly full. Mmmmmm bacon.

Great views and good food for the price. Make sure you pick up a leaflet from the entrance that gives you a 10% discount. This place and huggos give you the best spot to watch the sunset.

Great friendly place to eat. The food was great and unique. Price is reasonable especially for the quality of food. Great happy hour prices as well. A must while in Kona.

Specializing in amazing tasting food sourced from local farms this restaurant has surpassed my expectations. The staff is friendly and more than willing to work with dietary restraints. The dishes prepared for my dinner were the best that I have had in the last 20 years I have been coming to Kona. With their beach front location and relaxed atmosphere I would recommend daylight mind to any who are looking for great food that surpasses any of the other "typical" restaurants in the area.

"Daylight Mind" a curious name for a restaurant in Hawaii in a beautiful setting. Entering the restaurant, I was hoping to find the ambiance and warmth of a Hawaii I had traveled three thousand miles to experience. Instead I was confused by the layout and decor, wondering what inspired such a conflict in my "Mind" as to where I was. I was then warmly greeted by the hostess and seated at a table with a beautiful view of Kona Bay. As I was taking in the beauty I heard what I had traveled thousands of miles to hear. It was the warm soft sound of an older man singing in Hawaiian, songs of his home and life in Hawaii and the island of Moloka'i. Able to forget that I was in what seemed to be a theme restaurant from Northern California, A smiling waitress asked if I had made a choice yet or if I needed more time. I noticed that the musician was watching and had lowered the volume of the music so as to enable the waitress and I to take care of our business. All in all, being disappointed in the lack of Hawaiian ambiance at The Daylight Mind, I did find in some individuals of the staff the "Aloha" I had heard of in Hawaii. The service was excellent with good food. The older man singing Hawaiian songs of his home was what I had come to Hawaii to experience. So, I recommend highly a stop at the "Daylight Mind" and ask for a window seat near "The Old Hawaiian Musician"
