The 4 Year Rotation saved me when I was a newbie homeschool mama - the framework that makes our homeschool work! http://ow.ly/10cBzu
To educate a child well there must be order, repetition, and of course fun. We use the four year rotation to supply the order and repetition.

My tulips are peeking out. Spring seems like a perfect time for making season trees. http://ow.ly/10cAtp
My little one loves to get in on the school work. So we've been doing some seasons crafts. Here are Fingerprint Seasons Trees.

Do you ever use the upside down drawing technique? http://ow.ly/10cBpP
John James Audubon was a naturalist, ornithologist, and painter. Try painting birds with this cool upside down painting technique.

If you haven't done this with your kids, you must! They'll never forget this famous painting. http://ow.ly/10cAx7 #thescream #munch
Take a photo of your kids in their best "The Scream" pose and then create a warm swirling background to paste their cutout on to. Make your own version of Munch's The Scream.

We're a homeschool curriculum company for families and teachers.
Introduction

Layers of Learning is a four year rotation program you can use with all of your children at once, 1st through 12th.  It was written by homeschool moms for homeschoolers.  It’s organized and packed with information, crafts, printables, games, web links, and book lists.

Layers of Learning includes the subjects of history, geography, science, and the arts.  Once you complete all four years you start over with the program and work through the units again, with an older, more capable student.  So it’s cost effective too.  Buy one program for four subjects for all of your kids clear through graduation.
