Pre-built little houses just waiting to be decorated. (: We loved this party so, so much. http://ow.ly/NIGg3078yMY
My mother-in-law and sister-in-law hosted a fantastic party for all the grandkids – a graham cracker house party! I’ve thrown a lot of parties in my day, but none as seamless and perfect as this one. That’s a lot of little houses! Every year we decorate g...

We had a sledding party at my sister's and she brought out the hot cocoa in adorable handpainted Christmas mugs! http://ow.ly/nukI3078yjL
We made these hand painted Christmas mugs with our kids several years ago. We get them out every Christmas and use them for drinking hot cocoa on special occasions during the Christmas season. Here’s how we did it: We started with some plain white mugs from the dollar store, one for each member of our family. We washed them, running them through the dishwasher once to get rid of any factory residue. We bought special paints intended for ceramics...

Mmmm, can you smell them through the screen? http://ow.ly/NEu33078y4i
Our family has a tradition of making pomanders as we listen to the story of St. Nicholas and why we find an orange in the toe of our stocking each year.

I made this in elementary school and now my kids are doing the same book project. (:

Every year we read several versions of "The Night Before Christmas," the classic poem by Clement Clarke Moore. It's really interesting to read the same poem over and over, but with different interpretations by various illustrators.

Just because you're a homeschooler doesn't mean you can't have a Christmas class party. http://ow.ly/9q1x3078zO3
Print this Christmas Bingo game to play with kids of all ages. There are even pictures to help non-readers.

We made these for our cousin Christmas party. Glitter everywhere! Fun though...worth the glitter clean-up!

Love these glittery ornaments! We made them at an extended family Christmas party and everyone got to take their personalized ornament home to hang on their trees.

We're a homeschool curriculum company for families and teachers.
Introduction

Layers of Learning is a four year rotation program you can use with all of your children at once, 1st through 12th.  It was written by homeschool moms for homeschoolers.  It’s organized and packed with information, crafts, printables, games, web links, and book lists.

Layers of Learning includes the subjects of history, geography, science, and the arts.  Once you complete all four years you start over with the program and work through the units again, with an older, more capable student.  So it’s cost effective too.  Buy one program for four subjects for all of your kids clear through graduation.
